The person behind

My name is Martin A. ('81), living in Klagenfurt (Austria) and I am an anspiring amateur photographer and doing different graphic works like webdesign and image processing.

What I basically use for my photographs:

A short view back

All has started in january 2002 when I decided to register my first own domain. It was not easy for me to find a matching name but finally I think "Pixelfly" sounds quite nice. Pixelfly.net is some kind of playground for me where I developed me graphic skills and show my works to others. At the beginning I have shown just artworks and manipulation but around 2004 I discovered the field of digital photography for me. 2007 I bought a used DSLR in a forum cause of the higher image quality and the extensive possiblities in image processing through the raw-format. Actually I am proud that many people from around the world stopped at my site and watched my works. Actually the social media is a very strong factor in the web and it get's more difficult to attract visitors for a personal website but I want to keep Pixelfly up as long as possible, in times where many other well-known websites from the past not longer exist.
At the end thanks for the loyalty to all who have supported my site over the years!
